My picture book presentations typically last 45 minutes and are ideal for kindergartners through 2nd grade. I can tailor a lighter visit for pre-schoolers, or a more robust session on writing and the creative process for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. Along with a slide show presentation, I bring my accordion and ukulele to sing a few songs with the kids.
I also offer a free 15-minute Skype or Google Hangout visit where I'll read one book, talk about my work as an author, and take a few prepared questions. Longer virtual visits include a small fee.
Kids love having books signed to them by authors they've met. If you are interested in offering students and families the option to order my books and have them personally signed, arrangements can be made through a local indie bookstore.
